PequeJuega: educational games and stories for children

Last updated: September 29, 2026

Introduction

PequeJuega (“we”, “our”, or “the App”) is developed by Roger Castells. This policy explains what information the App handles when used by children ages 2-6 and their families.

We take children’s privacy seriously. PequeJuega is designed to comply with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the EU GDPR and Apple’s Kids Category rules.

Summary for Parents

Information We Do NOT Collect

PequeJuega does not collect:

Information Stored on Your Device

The App stores the following only on your device (this data never leaves it):

You can delete all of it at any time by uninstalling the App.

Anonymous Information That Is Sent

Usage statistics (Firebase Analytics, by Google)

We use Firebase Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the App is used: for example, which games and stories are started or completed, which topics are chosen, how long a session lasts, or whether the purchase screen is reached. These events contain no names or personal data.

To work, Firebase generates a random installation identifier and receives basic technical information (device model, operating system version, language and approximate country). This identifier is not linked to the identity of the child or family.

We have disabled the use of data for advertising: ad storage, ad personalization and ad user data consents are set to “denied”. Event data is retained for at most 14 months.

Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics, by Google)

If the App crashes, anonymous technical information (device model, OS version and error log) is sent so we can fix it. These reports contain no personal data.

Font download (Google Fonts)

The first time the App is opened with an internet connection, the title font may be downloaded from Google Fonts servers. As with any internet request, Google may receive the device’s IP address.

Purchases (RevenueCat, Apple, Google)

In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play, once the App is available there). We use RevenueCat to check whether the one-time purchase that unlocks all content has been made. RevenueCat receives:

We do not receive or store payment information (credit card numbers, billing addresses, etc.).

Children’s Privacy (COPPA)

PequeJuega is designed for children under 13 and complies with COPPA:

  1. No personal information collected from children.
  2. No behavioral or targeted advertising.
  3. No social features: children cannot share information or contact other users.
  4. No third-party tracking for advertising. The technical services we use (analytics and crash reporting) are configured without advertising purposes.
  5. Parental controls: the parental dashboard, protected by a parental gate, shows play time and manages settings. Purchases are also behind the parental gate.
